Most weekends you’ll hear Chef Juliette saying “Taste the Love” as you stroll through local farmers markets in South Florida. Patrons are often lined up waiting for her mouthwatering brisket along with her full barbeque menu. She is not just infamous for her barbeque and signature sauces and dry rubs but also her warm and inviting personality.

Chef Juliette started learning the art of barbeque as a young girl from her father and uncle. On weekends you would find them set up by the side of the road at Sunrise Blvd in Fort Lauderdale selling Art’s Barbeque.

When she got older she attended culinary school and continued to work as a chef for assisted living facilities. On weekend breaks, she would carry on her father’s tradition and set up his smoker in different locations around South Florida. In 2010 she broke away from her full-time job and started Lickie Stickie Barbeque. Today she has a fleet of four smokers and will soon be opening her first restaurant in Sunrise, Florida.

Lickie Stickie BBQ and Chef Juliette have been featured in the Sun Sentinel’s, “Let’s Eat, South Florida”. She can still be found on weekends at the farmers markets selling her infamous barbeque and her weekly “five-star restaurant quality” seafood specials. Additionally, she provides catering for any event and her signature barbeque and jerk sauces will be available to purchase in the near future. So come by Lickie Stickie BBQ, and be prepared to run into anyone from professional athletes and politicians to your own next door neighbor.
